The Scenic Boardwalk precedes the extensive, well-kept Playa Murciélago eternally kissed by the Pacific Ocean.

It is a very wide esplanade with a floor of colorful cobblestones, ideal for contemplating the immensity of the sea while having a refreshing drink.

Around the boardwalk there are numerous and well-stocked restaurants, and tourists come to this place to enjoy the gastronomy with an excellent view.

You can also visit the fish market and learn how fishermen bring fish to our shores and tables.

Then you will visit the boat factory, where you will see some of the fishing boats that are built.

Afterwards we will go to the «Button Factory», where you will witness how buttons and figures are made from this material, which are made from coconut that only grows in tropical areas, also known as vegetable ivory.

Montecristi Town Center:

This town has become an icon for Ecuadorians, many visitors come to see how the «Montecristi» hats are woven.

El Chorrillo

The El Chorrillo Commune is a site located in Montecristi, known for having been dedicated to the elaboration of the art of cabuya since the beginning of its population, with this material (cabuya) hats, bags, sacks, ropes, etc. are made.

The origin of its name is due to the fact that in its beginnings, from the hills where this population is located, many jets of water sprang forth, which made several rivers with very crystalline and pure water,

although today it is no longer so, this remains in one of the many stories that the inhabitants of this community have to tell their visitors.

Finally, we will board our private vehicle to go to the Port of Manta.
